Race Description
Miles for Migraine is set to host its 6th annual event featuring a 2-mile Walk and a 5K Run in San Diego on November 2, 2024. Taking place at Liberty Station NTC Park, this event aims to raise funds for Migraine and Headache Awareness, Treatment, and Research. This gathering serves not just as a walk/run but also as an opportunity for individuals to connect with the local migraine and headache community, listen to speakers, and engage with sponsors in the festival area.
Participants can enjoy the walk or run with all finishers receiving a commemorative medal, while the 5K run will be professionally timed. Additionally, there will be a special incentive for attendees to dress in purple, with prizes for the best outfits. Importantly, all funds raised during the event will support local headache medicine education and research, alongside free programs and services provided by Miles for Migraine.
