Race Description
The Miles for Michael 5.12K Run/Walk and Children’s Dash is set to take place on May 25, 2025, in Charleston, South Carolina. This event honors the memory of Michael W. Leibowitz, a beloved figure in the local running community who tragically passed away in July 2024. Participants will have the chance to engage in a non-timed race that promotes inclusivity for all athletic levels, alongside a children's dash.
All proceeds from the event will benefit the Michael W. Leibowitz Fund, supporting charitable causes that were important to Michael. Participants are encouraged to remember his legacy, which emphasized community, generosity, and motivation.
