Race Description
The Miles for Mammos 5K Run is set to occur on October 19, 2024, at the Jacksonville Commons Rec Center in Jacksonville, NC. The event aims to raise funds for Julie's Pink Warrior Project, which provides free screening mammograms to those in need. The registration fees are $30 until October 12, 2024, increasing to $35 thereafter, along with a free entry for kids aged 5 and under.
Participants can also opt for a virtual run at the same fee of $30, which includes a medal. Race packet pick up will be available on October 18, 2024, from 11 AM to 5 PM at Onslow Memorial Hospital. Proceeds from the event directly support mammography services in Onslow County, emphasizing the importance of health screenings in the community.
