Race Description
Miles for Mammograms is set to take place on October 19, 2024, in Savannah, Georgia. This 5K walk/run aims to raise funding to assist uninsured and underinsured individuals in obtaining free screening and diagnostic breast imaging. Since its inception in October 2022, the initiative has successfully provided services to over 250 people in need.
The event is organized through a collaboration between M.A.R.T.H.A., Incorporated, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated - Gamma Sigma Omega Chapter, and Curtis V. Cooper Primary Healthcare, Incorporated. Registration for this event is currently open, and participants are encouraged to join to support a critical cause.
