Race Description
On October 26th, 2024, Springfield, Missouri, will host the MIDNIGHT Rat Race - UNSANCTIONED, a unique and challenging night race that tests the limits of endurance and grit. Scheduled to kick off at midnight, participants will have approximately 13 miles to navigate without any course markings or volunteer assistance, relying solely on their instincts and determination to complete the course.
This unsanctioned event is specifically designed for experienced runners who thrive in challenging conditions and embrace the risk that accompanies such a race. With a strict time limit of 3 hours and 15 minutes, participants will traverse a variety of urban terrains, making strategic decisions on how to navigate the course. Registration is currently open for those brave enough to take on this unprecedented challenge.
