Race Description
The Medvejie Solstice Run is set to take place on June 21, 2025, at 9 AM in Sitka, Alaska. This event marks the 18th edition of the fundraiser for the SHS XC and Track program, featuring three different race distances: a 5K, a 10K, and a half marathon.
Racers will begin and conclude their runs at Herring Cove, with courses traversing towards Medvejie Hatchery. Participants are encouraged to prepare for a hilly route. Registration fees stand at $30 for the 5K, $35 for the 10K, and $45 for the half marathon, with the first 75 entrants receiving a non-cotton T-shirt. Volunteers are also invited to help with the event, and further inquiries can be made via email or through their Facebook page.
