Race Description
The Medal Madness 5K & 10K will take place on April 19, 2025, at Loyd H Roland Memorial Park in Akron, PA. This family-friendly race offers participants the chance to run or walk while earning points towards the US Road Running Race Series. Registration is currently open, and it requires all runners to sign up via RunSignup, as there will be no on-site registration available.
The event will begin at 8:00 AM, with packet pickup starting 30 minutes prior to the race. Participants can choose between a 5K or 10K distance, with the courses being paved and laid out in an out-and-back format. Notably, all finishers will receive themed medals, and there will be a costume contest to encourage festive attire among runners.
