Race Description
The Medal Madness race is set to take place on March 22, 2025, at Clawson-Burnley Park in Boone, North Carolina. This event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities, with various distances including 1 mile, 5K, 10K, 15K, and a half marathon. The event, organized by the US Road Running Club, emphasizes a family-friendly atmosphere and offers participants a chance to earn points towards the US Road Running Race Series.
Scheduled to begin at 8:30 AM, the race features an out-and-back course layout for all distances, with specific loops for each category. Notably, participants are encouraged to wear costumes, with prizes awarded for the best ones. All finishers will receive themed medals, and there is a time limit of 3 hours and 30 minutes to complete the half marathon.
