Race Description
The McKirdy Micro Race Series returns for its next edition on March 29-30, 2025, at Rockland Lake State Park in Valley Cottage, NY. Designed by runners for runners, this race series aims to provide athletes with the opportunity to achieve personal bests and qualify for prestigious events, such as the Boston Marathon. With a history of successful races, including the production of Olympians and a high percentage of personal bests achieved, the series is expanding to accommodate athletes of all abilities across multiple race distances.
Participants can expect a meticulously measured course, certified by World Athletics, featuring a 2.94-mile loop. The 2023 series saw significant achievements, including 48 athletes meeting the Olympic Trials qualifying standards. Registration for the McKirdy Micro Race Series is currently open, encouraging runners to join and strive for their best marathon or 10K times in a supportive and competitive environment.
