Race Description
The Masquerade Mile and 5K is set to take place on March 1, 2025, starting at 8:00 AM at 1400 Major Parkway, New Roads, Louisiana. This dual-event offers participants a unique combination of a festive 1-mile walk/run followed by a flat and fast 5K race, promising an engaging experience for runners and walkers alike.
Participants are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the event by wearing masks during the mile event, with prizes awarded for the best costumes. The 5K will follow shortly after, featuring a flat course design that is expected to yield personal records for many. Registration is currently open, with early registration recommended to ensure a race t-shirt is secured before the February 14 cutoff.
