Race Description
The 13th Annual Walk-A-Thon & 6th Annual 5K Run by Mary's Place by the Sea is set to take place on October 12, 2024, in Ocean Grove, NJ. This year's event aims to celebrate the organization's milestone of 15 years of service to women with cancer, alongside various activities including walking, running, dancing, and enjoying live music from the Pat Roddy Band.
With a fundraising goal of $200,000, the proceeds from this event will support restorative services for women battling cancer, allowing them to receive integrative services, meals, and accommodations at no cost. Participants and supporters are encouraged to come together for a day of celebration and community spirit, reinforcing the organization's mission to provide a nurturing environment for healing.
