Race Description
The Mary Lou Triathlon is scheduled to take place on June 22, 2025, at the Deyo Reservoir near Weippe, Idaho. This event, formerly known as the Bald Mountain Triathlon, has undergone a name change to honor the Deyo Family matriarch and has a varied course featuring a swim, a mountain biking segment, and a running trail.
Participants will start with a swim from the sandy beach of Deyo Reservoir, followed by a challenging mountain bike route that covers approximately 13 miles through forested trails and roads. The run portion will take place on a 2.2-mile trail around the reservoir. A youth triathlon is also set to occur the day before at 6:00 PM, catering to children ages 4 to 12.
