Race Description
The Marquette Turkey Trot 2024, a fundraising event for the MSHS Orchestra, is set to take place on November 28, 2024. Participants can enjoy a scenic course that begins at the MSHS Canopy Entrance and takes runners down a paved bike path toward Tourist Park, marking the 5k turn-around. The 10k course extends further along the path towards the ore dock before Presque Isle, with all courses being out-and-back routes.
This community-focused event does not have official timing, allowing participants to run at their own pace. Long sleeve t-shirts featuring a logo designed by a local student will be provided, and dogs are welcomed with awards for the fastest 5k and 10k finishers. Registration will be available on race day between 8:00 AM and 8:40 AM EST, making it an excellent opportunity to gather with fellow runners and support local school organizations.
