Race Description
The Mackinac Island Swim, scheduled for August 10-17, 2025, is a fun event designed as a fundraiser for the Mackinaw Woman's Club, a recognized non-profit organization. Participants can enjoy up to 8.2 miles of swimming in the pristine waters surrounding Mackinac Island, paired with enjoyable festivities at the finish line at Mission Point Resort. Last year, the event raised over $22,500, and organizers are optimistic about surpassing this total in 2025 through merchandise sales, raffles, and auctions.
Swimmers will have the opportunity to participate in two packet pick-up options before the event, which will take place in Mackinaw City. Additionally, participants are responsible for their ferry tickets to the island, with a reserved ferry for swimmers and their supporters departing at 6:30AM on the day of the event. Registration is now open with a fee of $295 for participants, which includes various perks such as a towel, a medal, and a meal ticket at the finish line.
