Race Description
On June 7, 2025, the Mackinac Island Lilac Festival will kick off with the annual 10K race, a beloved event that has taken place for over 38 years on the picturesque island. Participants will begin at Windemere Park, venturing through the historic downtown area and up the challenging Mission Hill, before enjoying scenic views along the shoreline towards the finish line at Mackinac Island Public School.
In addition to the 10K, a special Lil' Lilac Kid’s Race will be held for younger participants. Starting at 11:45 AM, children will race on the school's lawn, with distances varying according to age. All registrants will receive a race shirt, and discounted ferry tickets will be available soon for those traveling to the event. Athletes can also participate in the 2024 Mackinac Island Trio Series for an additional medal by completing required races.
