Race Description
The Mackinac Bridge Swim is set to take place on July 26, 2025, allowing participants to swim across the iconic Straits of Mackinac. The event, which stretches approximately 4.5 miles, begins in Mackinaw City and concludes at Bridgeview Park in St. Ignace. This swimming competition aims to support First Responders in Michigan.
Participants are reminded that water temperatures can range from 57 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit and must provide proof of a swimming pace of 40 minutes per mile or better by May 1, 2025, to qualify. Swimmers are required to wear wetsuits and swim buoys, as this is not an officially timed event and personal timing devices are encouraged.
