Race Description
The LVRR New Year Run invites participants to ring in the new year on January 1, 2025, at the Lehigh Parkway in Allentown, PA. This annual event, in existence since before the formation of the Lehigh Valley Road Runners club in 1993, promises a festive atmosphere and community spirit as locals and visitors alike gather to usher in 2025 together.
This year's run offers both a 5-mile and a 5K course, each featuring a champagne stop to celebrate the new year. Post-race festivities will take place at the clubhouse, providing attendees with hot chocolate, hot dogs, and sweets. Registration is not required; all are welcome to join, and volunteers are encouraged to participate.
