Race Description
The Lums Pond Triathlon, held at Lums Pond State Park in Bear, Delaware, is set to take place on August 3, 2025. This annual event features a Sprint and Olympic distance race, catering to both elite and novice athletes. Known for its scenic surroundings and flat course, the triathlon offers participants a unique experience, combining a freshwater swim, a fast biking loop, and a picturesque run through heavily forested trails.
This event not only serves as a qualifying race for the Toyota Age Group National Championships but also features various trails for mountain biking, hiking, and running.
