Race Description
The Luau 5K & Half Marathon is set to take place at Pompano Community Park in Pompano Beach, Florida on December 28, 2024. This event is part of the US Road Running Race Series, which allows both club members and non-members to participate. Runners can enjoy a themed atmosphere while competing for medals in this festive setting.
Participants can expect a well-organized race experience with packet pickup starting thirty minutes prior to the 8:00 AM start time. The courses for both the 5K and the Half Marathon are out-and-back routes, with the half marathon course completed six times for a total distance of 13.1 miles. Runners are encouraged to don costumes for added fun, with a costume award presented at the start of the race.
