Race Description
The Luau 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon is set to take place on February 22, 2025, at Green Springs Park in Deltona, Florida. This event is organized by the US Road Running Club and is part of the US Road Running Race Series, welcoming runners regardless of club membership. Participants are encouraged to take part in a festive atmosphere, with costume wearing promoted although not required.
Runners can expect an early start time of 8:30 AM, with packet pickup available 30 minutes before the race start. The races feature unique courses with specific distance requirements: the 5K and 10K courses are two and four laps respectively, with a time limit of 2 hours. The Half Marathon consists of six laps and has a 3.5-hour limit. Finishers will receive themed medals, and prizes will be awarded for the best costume, fostering a spirited community event.
