Race Description
The Luau 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon is scheduled to take place on October 26, 2024, at Homestead Air Reserve Park in Homestead, Florida. This event is part of the US Road Running Race Series and open to all runners, though club members enjoy a 50% discount and other perks. Participants are reminded that registration is required through RunSignup, and there will be no on-site registration available.
Runners will enjoy a paved course, starting at 8:30 AM, with a course layout that features both out-and-back segments for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon distances. The 5K and 10K are limited to a maximum of 2 hours, while the Half Marathon must be completed within 3 hours and 30 minutes. Medals will be awarded to all finishers, and there will also be a best costume competition for participants who choose to dress up.
