Race Description
The Luau 1M, 5K & 10K event is set to take place on May 24, 2025, at Ellis-Methvin Park in Plant City, Florida. This race is organized by the US Road Running Club and is part of the US Road Running Race Series, welcoming all runners regardless of club membership. Participants can expect a festive atmosphere with themed medals for finishers and the opportunity to dress in costumes, with awards for the best outfit.
Runners will have the option to participate in three different race distances: a 1-mile, a 5K, and a 10K. The races will begin at 8:00 AM, with packet pickup occurring 30 minutes before the start. The 5K and 10K courses are out-and-back, with the 5K requiring participants to complete the course twice and the 10K four times. All finishing participants will receive themed medals upon completion of their respective races.
