Race Description
The Luau race event, featuring distances of 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, 15K, and Half Marathon, is set to take place on November 23, 2024, at the JR Alford Greenway in Tallahassee, Florida. This event is organized by the US Road Running Club and is part of the US Road Running Race Series, welcoming both members and non-members to participate.
Participants can expect an early start at 8:00 AM, with packet pickup available 30 minutes prior to the race beginning. The courses are designed as out and back routes, with the Half Marathon requiring four laps of the designated course. Awards will be given for the top finishers in various categories, and all finishers will receive themed medals. Special encouragement is given for participants to wear costumes, with a prize for the best costume awarded at the race start.
