Race Description
The 1st Annual Livingston Manor Turkey "Trout" 5K Run/Walk is set to take place on November 30, 2024, in Livingston Manor, NY. This community event aims to bring participants together for a morning of exercise and fresh air, while supporting a local cause—the Sullivan County Animal Shelter, as all proceeds from the race will be donated to this charity.
The race will commence at 11:00 AM at the intersection of Main Street and Creamery Road, with participants walking or running along Creamery Road before turning back at the covered bridge. An award ceremony will be held afterwards at Sunshine Colony. Organizers have cautioned that if inclement weather occurs, the race may be cancelled and registration fees non-refundable, but that all proceeds will still benefit the animal shelter.
