Race Description
The Second Annual LivFree Boos & Brews 5K is set to take place on Sunday, October 27, 2024, at the Fairfield Hills Campus in Newtown, CT. The event kicks off at 10 AM and is designed to celebrate Halloween while benefiting LivFree, an organization dedicated to bringing joy to families affected by pediatric cancer. Participants can choose to either run or walk the 5K course, which is USATF certified and runs through the campus's scenic roads and paved trails.
In addition to the race, registered participants will have exclusive access to a Halloween party hosted by NewSylum Brewing Company, featuring free pizza and one complimentary beer for adult runners. The event is family-friendly, with a special trick-or-treating experience for kids scheduled after the race. Early registration is encouraged due to a cap of 300 participants for the post-race festivities, with a variety of registration options available for different preferences.
