Race Description
The Lights on the Lake 5K is set to celebrate its 35th Anniversary on November 23-24, 2024, inviting participants to run and walk through the beautifully illuminated displays of Wegmans Lights on the Lake. This annual event aims to gather community members for an enjoyable early morning experience by Onondaga Lake Park.
The event will include a 5K walk on November 23 and a 5K run on November 24, both starting at 6:00 AM. This year, the participation is capped at 750 runners, with special prizes for top finishers in various age categories. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds will benefit Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital, with donations of unwrapped toys being accepted for children spending the holidays in the hospital.
