Race Description
The annual Lighthouse 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run is set to take place on February 15, 2025, at the picturesque St. Augustine Lighthouse. This event, which originated in 1983, is recognized as a qualifier for the renowned Gate River Run and includes a special Fun Run catering to younger participants. The race promises a festive atmosphere, complete with activities for children such as face painting and arts and crafts, alongside an awards ceremony following the race.
Participants can look forward to a flat and certified 5K course winding through Historic Lighthouse Park and Davis Shores. Registration is currently open until February 14, 2025, at 10:00 AM, with same-day walk-up registration available. All proceeds from the event will support local non-profit organizations, enriching the community through various service projects funded by the Junior Service League of St. Augustine.
