Race Description
The LASAA Mug Run, organized by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, aims to foster health, fitness, and camaraderie among its members as well as the general public. First held in 1993 with just a small group of law enforcement runners, the event has significantly grown, now attracting over 300 participants.
Scheduled for January 4, 2025, the event will take place at the Pitchess Detention Center in Castaic, California. Registration is currently closed, but participants are encouraged to sign up early when it reopens to avoid increased race day fees, which are set at $40. Runners will receive commemorative T-shirts on the day of the race.
