Race Description
The 7th Annual Lakeside 5K and Family Fun Day is set to take place on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Lakeside DFW in Flower Mound, Texas. This community event aims to celebrate and honor the lives of young mothers supported by Ally’s Wish, a nonprofit organization that grants final wishes to terminally ill moms. The day will feature a 5K run, a 1 Mile Family Fun Run, and various activities including face painting, a dog costume contest, and a trunk or treat event.
Participants and supporters of the Lakeside 5K can get involved through sponsorship opportunities, forming teams, or registering as individuals. The event will not only raise funds for Ally’s Wish, which has granted over 300 wishes to families, but will also create lasting memories for the children of those mothers.
