Race Description
The Lakefront Discovery Run is set to take place on October 26, 2024, offering participants the choice between a 15k and a 5k distance. This event encourages runners, walkers, and those who prefer a more playful approach to participate. The race will kick off at Veterans Park, showcasing the scenic Milwaukee lakefront while providing candy-laden aid stations to keep everyone energized.
Participants will receive event t-shirts and enjoy snacks alongside an exciting post-race celebration featuring free beer. Awards will be presented not only for top finishers in each distance but also for the best costume, highlighting the fun and community spirit of the event. Pre-registration is currently open, with early discounts for members of the Badgerland Striders club.
