Join us in Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina, for the second annual Lake Waccamaw State Park Fatmucket Walk, Run & Ruck scheduled for February 8, 2025. This event welcomes participants of all abilities with distances tailored for everyone. The event will feature a variety of activities including a fun run/walk, timed trail runs, and rucking challenges for participants.
The Lake Waccamaw State Park provides a unique backdrop, being the oldest lake in North Carolina and boasting 2,938 acres of natural beauty. With multiple trail options and scenic boardwalks, participants will experience the rich history and natural wonder of the area while contributing to local suicide prevention efforts. Registration is now open, and participants can register online until 20 minutes before the start of the event.
