Race Description
The Lake Life 8K is set to return for its second annual event on August 23, 2025, during the popular Summerfest at Hamilton Lake. This race offers an opportunity for both runners and walkers to experience a picturesque course starting at the Fish Creek Trail head, navigating through beautiful trails adjacent to Fish Creek before venturing into the scenic Acres Land Trust.
Participants will enjoy a predominantly flat course, comprised of a crushed gravel surface, leading them into both trail and grassy field running. After completing the course, attendees are encouraged to stay and enjoy various festivities throughout the day at Hamilton Lake. Registration for the race is currently open, inviting everyone to partake in this unique outdoor experience.
