Race Description
The King George Fall Festival Race/Run/Walk is set to return for its fourth year on October 12, 2024, at the Dahlgren Railroad Heritage Trail. This year's event introduces a new 10k distance, complementing the previously popular 5k and 1-mile race options. Participants can expect an unofficial timed out-and-back race starting from the Bloomsbury Road trailhead, with bottled water and snacks available throughout the event.
The festival, which aims to be a fun family occasion for all ages, will kick off with participant check-in at 7:00 AM, followed by the 10k race starting at 7:45 AM and the 5k and 1-mile race at 8:00 AM. All finishers will receive a limited edition finisher's medal, and food truck coupons will be awarded to top finishers in each category, making it a highlight of the King George community's annual events.
