Race Description
The Kids on the Run series returns for 2024-2025, offering a fun and competitive environment for elementary school students to engage in running. The event, open to children in grades K through 5, features a series of six one-mile runs designed to promote camaraderie among local schools' running clubs, as well as individual participation.
Scheduled to kick off on October 3, 2024, this series of races will take place at various locations around Shreveport, LA. Participants are reminded that they must be 11 years old or younger to qualify, with registration options available for individuals and school teams. Medals will be awarded to the top finishers, and schools can compete for monetary awards based on their participation results.
