Race Description
The 39th Annual Kennekuk Road Runners - Mountain Goat will take place on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., in the scenic Kickapoo State Recreation Area located in Oakwood, Illinois. This beloved local race offers a choice of three challenging distances: 5k, 10k, and 15k, allowing participants to test their spring fitness and enjoy the first weekend of spring.
Participants in the Mountain Goat race are promised not just a test of endurance, but also a community atmosphere with post-race celebrations. All finishers will receive awards, and there will be additional incentives for those who complete several races in the Kennekuk series.
