Race Description
The 27th Annual Lake Mingo Trail Run is set to take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. Race Director Joe Kelly and Co-Race Director Stephen Darling will oversee the event at Kennekuk Cove County Park in Danville, Illinois. This popular race features a course that alternates directions each year, making for a unique experience at every race.
The course spans 7.1 miles, predominantly on trails with scenic views of Lake Mingo, offering participants the chance to encounter local wildlife. Registrations are currently open and will remain so until June 5, 2025. Participants are encouraged to sign up early to benefit from the lower registration fee, which will increase after May 5, 2025.
