Race Description
The upcoming race, Just for the Helena of It, is set to take place on October 20, 2024, in Helena, Montana. Sponsored by the Treasure State Runners, this annual fall event aims to raise funds for local nonprofits that promote physical, mental, and emotional health. Distances offered include a half marathon, 10k, and 5k, which will take runners through the scenic areas of Helena.
In previous years, the race has garnered significant community support, with the 2022 event attracting 350 runners and raising $17,000 for The Friendship Center, while the 2023 edition saw 550 participants raising $24,000. For 2024, the event is excited to add Girls Thrive as a second beneficiary, aiming to raise $3,000 for them and $27,000 for The Friendship Center.
