Race Description
The Jungle Jog, an annual 5K/10K run/walk, is hosted by the students of the Doctorate of Physical Therapy program at Georgia Southern University's Armstrong Campus. This year's event, set to take place on April 26, 2025, will feature a vibrant jungle theme, encouraging participants to don safari or animal-inspired attire. Runners will traverse a route that showcases the campus, accompanied by enthusiastic volunteers cheering them on.
The race is open to families and dog owners, making it a great outing for all. Participants can pick up their race packets the day before or on the day of the race, with a prompt start time of 8:00 AM. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Georgia Southern Physical Therapy Club, allowing students to engage with the Savannah community. Prizes will reward top finishers in different categories, and professional timing will be provided, ensuring an accurate and competitive experience for all involved.
