Race Description
The JSCC's 5K/Fun Run is set to take place on March 14, 2025, at the James Sprunt Community College in Kenansville, NC. This community event is designed to welcome participants of all ages, offering a fun and engaging environment for both runners and non-runners alike. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Presidential Scholarship fund, which supports Duplin County high school students by providing them tuition-free opportunities at JSCC for up to two years.
Participants can expect a flat and accessible 5K course that begins and ends at James Sprunt Community College, heading toward the Duplin Event Center and downtown Kenansville. Registration fees range from $15 to $30 depending on the type of run and registration date. It’s important to note that participants should be prepared for the event to take place regardless of weather conditions, as there are no refunds for weather-related cancellations.
