Race Description
The John Deere Tractor & Engine Museum will host its annual 5K event on June 7, 2025, in Waterloo, Iowa. Set at the historical site of the first John Deere tractor factory, this event invites participants to race alongside community members and employees in a family-friendly atmosphere. Registration is currently open, allowing runners of all skill levels to participate in this unique race experience.
In addition to the main 5K race scheduled to start at 8:00 a.m., a kids' race called 'The Spoker Sprint' will kick off at 7:30 a.m. Post-race activities will include fun events for children, award ceremonies, and an opportunity for attendees to explore the museum. As part of their community outreach, John Deere will donate a portion of the registration fees to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank to help combat hunger in the region.
