Race Description
On September 21, 2024, J. L. Mann High School will host its third annual Race for a Reason, a 5K Color Run/Walk set to begin at 9:00 AM. This year's events are a collaboration with the Student Council Group during spirit week, aiming to raise funds for the Emerson Rose Heart Foundation, which assists infants born with congenital heart defects and their families.
Participants will contribute to a worthy cause, directly supporting the Emerson Rose Heart Foundation's efforts to improve medical care and support for children with congenital heart defects. The registration fee is $10, with an option to purchase a commemorative 5K shirt for an additional cost. The event is expected to make a significant impact on the lives of children with congenital heart defects in the Upstate of South Carolina.
