Race Description
The Iron Mountain | Kingsford Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk is set to take place on Thanksgiving Day, November 28th, 2024. This annual event aims to bring families together for a festive day of fun before the holiday feast, featuring a scenic course through Iron Mountain, Michigan, as well as an array of activities including music, food, and post-race celebrations.
Participants in the 5K Run/Walk will enjoy long-sleeve shirts upon finishing, with awards given to the top overall male and female runners, along with the top three boys and girls in the youth category. The event promotes a family-friendly atmosphere, encouraging everyone, including pets, to join in the festivities. Packet pick-up is scheduled for race morning from 8:00 to 9:15 a.m. at the Northern Lights YMCA.
