Race Description
The Intermediate Sailing course will be held on September 14-15, 2024, at Fiddler's Cove Marina in San Diego, CA. This two-day adult sailing class is available to all eligible MWR patrons and their sponsored guests, with a minimum age requirement of 16 years. Participants must possess a beginner sailing qualification to enroll, which can be obtained from recognized organizations such as U.S. Sailing or the American Sailing Association.
Registration for the event is currently open, with fees varying based on military affiliation and rank. Classes will include boat rental, instruction, and textbooks, with a limited number of students per boat to ensure effective learning. Additionally, participants are required to have a valid California Boater Card or course completion certificate before attending the first class.
