Race Description
The Indian River Kayak Bike Biathlon is back for its 18th year, scheduled to take place on Sunday, July 20, 2025, from 9 AM to 11 AM. This unique event combines kayaking and biking, allowing participants to engage in fun, fitness, and competition along the scenic routes of Northern Michigan, with a limit of just 100 registered participants.
Participants will begin with a 2.24-mile kayaking segment on the historic Inland Waterway, followed by an 11.68-mile bike ride on the North Central State Trail. The event promises an engaging experience for racers and enthusiasts alike, complete with refreshments, awards, and prizes at DeVoe Beach, while also supporting the maintenance of local trails with raised funds.
