Race Description
The Inaugural Fostering 5K will take place on November 2, 2024, in Jacksonville, Texas, aiming to raise awareness for the critical need for foster families in Cherokee County. Proceeds from the event will support the organization Fostering Bridges.
Participants can pick up their race packets early at Neighbors Coffee on November 1, 2024. The official race day activities will commence at Howard Cook Field Parking Lot, featuring a welcome ceremony and a Kids Dash before the main 5K race starts at 9:00 AM.
