Race Description
The "Igniting the Flame" Domestic Violence Awareness 5K Run/Walk will take place on October 12, 2024, at AL Lopez Park in Tampa, Florida. The event aims to raise awareness regarding domestic violence while providing an engaging and supportive atmosphere for participants. Organizers promise a scenic route along with various amenities for registrants, including a race t-shirt, medal, and refreshments.
All proceeds from the run will benefit Restoration & Purpose Community Outreach, Inc., which is dedicated to addressing public health issues and supporting survivors of violence and homelessness. Participants are encouraged to donate travel-sized toiletries or gift cards on the day of the race to assist those in need.
