Race Description
The IDEA Public Schools 5K & Healthy Living Expo, part of the Healthy Kids Here initiative, is set to take place on March 1, 2025, at Ascarate Park in El Paso, TX. This annual event, which began as a way to promote health and wellness in the community, encourages families to engage in physical activity and supports programming for scholars at IDEA El Paso schools.
Participants can choose between a competitive 5K race, which starts at 8:15 AM, and a non-competitive 1 Mile walk, starting at 8:25 AM. All registered runners will receive a finisher medal, and trophies will be awarded for top finishers across several age categories. Registration is currently open, and packet pick-up will be available on February 27 and 28, 2025, at the IDEA El Paso Regional Office.
