Race Description
The fourth running of the 'I Thought Turkeys Could Fly' 5k is scheduled to take place on November 9, 2024, in Dunn, North Carolina. This USATF certified race will start and end on North General Lee Ave by Tyler Park, offering a flat and fast course with a minimal elevation change. Proceeds from the event will benefit Toys for Tots, ensuring a meaningful cause for participants.
Runners will have the opportunity to compete for medals as the top three overall male and female finishers will be recognized. Age group medals will also be awarded across various categories in ten-year increments. Registration is currently open, and participants can opt for a bundle sign-up that includes two additional races in Erwin and Coats, available until May 10, 2024.
