Race Description
The Dawdy Family invites the community to participate in the "I'm Be-Liver Laken Strong 5k with COTA" scheduled for Saturday, January 25, 2025, at the Quail Creek Fire Department in Victoria, Texas. This event aims to support the Children's Organ Transplant Association (COTA), which assists families facing life-saving transplants, in honor of one-year-old Laken Dawdy who recently received a liver transplant.
All proceeds from the race will benefit COTA to cover transplant-related expenses, with a pledge that these services are provided free of charge. Participants will receive a shirt, and there is also a fun run for children aged 10 and under. Early registration is encouraged to guarantee a shirt, as supplies are limited. Community support for this important cause is strongly encouraged.
