Race Description
The Husky Autumn Mountain Run (HAMR) is a competitive running event featuring both 5k and 10k distances organized by the Arctic Rangers Club at Michigan Technological University. Set against the stunning backdrop of Mont Ripley in Hancock, Michigan, the event promises a challenging course alongside beautiful views of the famed fall colors of the Upper Peninsula.
Scheduled for October 26, 2024, participants will enjoy a community-focused atmosphere, with proceeds benefiting the Copper Country Humane Society. Runners can register in advance to secure a free T-shirt or sign up on race day. With a history of camaraderie among participants, the HAMR encourages runners of all levels to embrace the challenge of the mountain.
